OTA Training, LLC Launches RFID Training and Certification Programs

DALLAS, TX August 10, 2004 -- OTA Training, LLC today announced the establishment of its RFID Training and Certification program. OTA Training's RFID training products are created to accelerate start-up time for organizations faced with the planning and deployment of RFID systems. The program will remain vendor neutral exposing students to a wide range of state-of-the-art technology.

In addition, OTA Training is initiating its Certified RFID Professional Program, the first of its kind, positioned as the preeminent certification for professionals in the RFID industry. The company is working with global organizations to establish its certification program as the recommended standard for RFID educational certification. The Certification program offers both instructor-led and online training providing a very cost effective way to get up-to-speed with the world of RFID systems deployment.

With major RFID initiatives announced by Wal-Mart, Target, Albertsons, and the US Department of Defense, the pressure is now on for manufacturers, distributors, and 3rd party logistics companies to establish RFID capabilities in warehouse and distribution facilities.
